Does the School have a programme for students during the Summer months?
The School runs a Summer Camp during the first two weeks of July for children of primary school age. Our Sports Dept run a Hockey and Soccer Camp also, contact the School for these dates. Each year organisers contact the School to hire the premises to run various camps, these details are always available from our reception nearer the time, so do check.

There is also a Summer Language Programme for foreign students organised through International House Dublin, 66 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2. www.ihdublin.com
      
What Sporting Facilities are there at Sutton Park School, and is Sport compulsory for all children?
The School has an Astro-Grass Hockey Pitch, a grass pitch, a Sports Hall and Tennis Courts. Yes, Sport is compulsory for all students, unless there are certifiable medical or physical reasons. Both Junior, Intermediate and Senior students have regularly scheduled Physical Education classes every week. For further details and Team News, please visit the Sports Section.
      
What sort of programme for the Arts is there at Sutton Park School?
The School has a thriving Arts Programme at both Junior and Senior level.
Junior & Intermediate children are taught Art and Music in class, and the School holds the annual North Dublin Arts Festival for primary school children.

Both Art and Music are part of the Senior School curriculum, and include participation in such extracurricular activities as entering Art and Music competitions, visiting museums and attending concerts. Sutton Park School also hosts the Young Musician and Young Artist Competitions every year. Please visit the Music Section and the Art Section for more information and examples of student work.
